Acrylic Tennis Court Renovation

This project at Mövenpick Hotel reflects Sportec’s expertise in upgrading existing tennis courts to meet high-performance training and daily operational demands.

The courts showed structural wear and surface cracking that affected playability and long-term durability. Sportec carried out a complete crack-repair process, stabilizing the base before rebuilding the surface using a premium multi-layer acrylic system. Each layer was applied with precision to restore surface integrity, improve consistency, and deliver a refined visual finish.

Finished in carefully selected color combinations, the renewed courts combine performance, comfort, and aesthetics — suitable for both intensive training and professional-level play.

01.

Ground Correction & Base Engineering

The original gravel base was removed and reworked to eliminate movement, uneven settlement, and long-term structural risk. The ground was reshaped and compacted to meet professional construction standards.

02.

Asphalt Foundation Installation

A new asphalt layer was installed to provide a smooth, durable, and stable platform — essential for consistent bounce and surface longevity.

03.

Synthetic Grass Tennis Surface

The synthetic grass system was selected for its durability, comfort, and low maintenance requirements, making it ideal for private residential courts without compromising play quality.

Built for High-Volume Daily Use

These courts were designed to sustain up to 10 hours of coaching and play per day, a requirement driven by the operational needs of RAH Tennis Academy, one of the most established and respected academies in the country.

With a large and active player base and a leading junior development program, the academy requires surfaces that remain stable, predictable, and durable under continuous use. Sportec’s acrylic system was selected and executed specifically to meet these demands, ensuring consistent ball bounce, controlled pace, and long-term resistance to wear.
